CAREER NOTES: Split his first professional season between the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) and Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL) in 2013-14, helping the Cyclones reach the 2014 Kelly Cup Final… Tied for third among rookies in goals (6), and for fifth among first-year players in points (11) during the 2014 ECHL Playoffs… Captained the Minnesota Golden Gophers (WCHA) during his redshirt junior season in 2012-13, helping them claim their second consecutive MacNaughton Cup as WCHA champs… Named to the All-WCHA Academic Team for the third consecutive season in 2012-13… Tied for 11th in WCHA points (14g-22a-36pts) in 2012-13… Signed his first pro contract on April 3, 2013, then joined Milwaukee (AHL), dressing for the team’s final nine regular-season games and three playoff contests… Played in all 43 of Minnesota’s games in 2011-12 after missing the majority of the 2010-11 campaign due to injury… A 2011-12 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar… A 2011-12 All-WCHA Academic Team member and WCHA Scholar Athlete… Posted four assists in three NCAA Tournament games, helping the Golden Gophers advance to the 2012 Frozen Four… Took part in the 2009 and 2010 USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camps… Missed the 2008-09 Minnesota High School season due to a torn ACL sustained while playing football.
