Led the team in ice time on nine occasions in 2012-13, and saw his average ice time go up by more than five minutes from his rookie campaign (from 18:23 to 23:31).
Finished fifth on the team in points (5g-13a-18pts), topping his 52-game total from his rookie campaign in 2011-12. Also tied for second on the team in assists.
Posted 11 points (2g-9a) in the final 20 games of 2012-13, including a career-high five-game point streak from March 15-23 (2g-6a-8pts).
Played in his 100th career NHL game in the 2012-13 season finale on April 27 at Columbus.
Posted the first four-point outing (2g-2a) of his career on Feb. 25 vs. Dallas including his first career game-winning goal in overtime. It was the fifth time in franchise history a defenseman has posted four or more points in a game, and his second-career multi-point effort.
Played with his hometown team, SC Bern, during the NHL work stoppage, posting 17 points (6g-11a) in 26 games
