CAREER NOTES: Played his first professional season with Milwaukee (AHL) in 2009-10, ranking third among AHL rookie defensemen in points (11g-30a-41pts) and goals, and tied for second in power-play points (6g-14a-20pts)… Tied for first on the Ads in power-play goals (6) and ranked second on the club in man-advantage assists (14)… Also third among first-year blueliners, and tied for second on the 2009-10 Admirals, in plus/minus rating (+17)… The only Admiral to suit up for all 80 of the team’s 2009-10 regular season contests… Tied for the team lead in assists (7), and ranked second on Milwaukee in points (1g-7a) during 2010 Calder Cup Playoffs… Ranked third among defensemen in points per game (1.14) during the 2010 Calder Cup Playoffs… Finished his junior career as the Vancouver Giants’ (WHL) all-time leader in defensive scoring, in addition to ranking third overall on the franchise’s scoring list with 204 points (49g-155a) in 248 regular season games and 42 points (14g-28a) 67 postseason contests from 2005-09. During his tenure, the team claimed four division titles, two conference titles, a WHL Championship and a Memorial Cup Championship… Named the 2009 Canadian Hockey League Jack Link’s Defenseman of the Year… Won the 2009 Bill Hunter Memorial Trophy as the WHL’s defenseman of the year and was named a 2009 First-Team WHL Western Conference All-Star… Captained the Giants to their best season in franchise history in 2008-09...
