CAREER NOTES: Spent his first professional season with Cincinnati (ECHL) in 2009-10… Ranked second among ECHL goaltenders in goals-against average (2.63) and fifth in wins (23) in 2009-10… Ranked second among rookie goalies in wins and goals-against average, and third in save percentage (.899) in 2009-10… Represented the American Conference in the 2010 ECHL All-Star Game… Ranked fourth in the ECHL in shootout save percentage in 2009-10 (21-of-31, .680%)… Helped the Cyclones win the 2010 Kelly Cup… Named co-MVP of the Kelly Cup Playoffs after ranking seventh in the postseason in save percentage and eighth in goals-against average (2.67) while posting a 9-7-1 record… Split the 2008-09 season between Plymouth and Niagara (OHL)… Recorded a shutout in his first game after being traded to Niagara on Jan. 8, 2009 – a 33-save whitewash against Barrie… Ranked seventh in the 2009 OHL Playoffs in save percentage (.915) and tied for sixth in wins (5)… Ranked second in the OHL in save percentage (.921) and tied for fifth in shutouts (3) in addition to finishing in the OHL’s Top 10 in wins (23) and goals-against average (2.86) in 2007-08… Also ranked first among OHL goaltenders in shootout save percentage (.760), stopping 19 of the 25 shots he faced… Represented the Western Conference in the 2008 OHL All-Star Classic… Represented the U.S. at the 2008 World Junior Championships, appearing in six games and posting a 2.40 goals-against average… A member of the 2007 OHL Champion Plymouth Whalers… Played in the 2007 Memorial Cup tournament… Ranked second in the OHL and second among rookie netminders in 2006-07 with a .923 save percentage… Shared the OHL’s Dave Pinkney Trophy for the best team goals-against average in 2006-07 and was named to the OHL’s All-Academic Team… Recorded one loss in his last 18 games of the 2006-07 season… Notched the win at the 2007 CHL Top Prospects Game, stopping 14-of-15 shots… Named USA Hockey’s 2007 Dave Peterson Goalie of the Year… Won a silver medal with Team USA at the 2006 U-18 Junior World Cup, posting a .928 save percentage and a 2.47 GAA.
