Acquired: Signed by Nashville as a free agent on May 6, 2002.
2007-08: Established career highs in games played (79), assists (21) and points (32)… Tied a personal best in goals (11)… Set a personal best in average time on ice (13:56)… More than doubled his hit total from the two previous seasons combined with a career-high (52)… Registered six multiple-point games after notching four multiple-point games total in his first three seasons… One of four players on the team to win more than half the face-offs he took (50.2%)… Was third on the club in takeaways (51) and third among team forwards in shorthanded time on ice (2:25)… Notched his first career three-point game on Feb. 9 vs. San Jose… Appeared in his 200th career NHL game on Feb. 7 vs. Tampa Bay… Posted 12 points in a 14-game span from Feb. 9 – March 7. PLAYOFFS: Appeared in all six of the club’s postseason games and led the team in shorthanded time on ice (3:53).

2006-07: Established a career-high in goals (11)… Prior to 2006-07, he had totaled 18 points (12g-6a) in 76 NHL games… Skated in his 100th NHL game on Dec. 6 at Anaheim… Signed a two-year contract with Nashville on July 18, 2007. PLAYOFFS: Played in all five of Nashville’s WCQ games vs. San Jose and scored his first career playoff goal in Game Five on April 20.

2005-06: Established career-highs in power-play goals (3) and game-winning goals (2)… Posted his first career two-goal game on Jan. 4 at St. Louis… Spent two stretches (Oct. 6-26, Oct. 27-Nov. 19) with Milwaukee (AHL), amassing seven points (1g-6a) and 20 penalty minutes in 11 games. PLAYOFFS: Notched an assist in his first career NHL playoff game on April 27 vs. San Jose.

2004-05: Led the Admirals with a +19 rating and tied for third on the Admirals in goals (20)… Played an AHL career-high 73 games.

2003-04: Opened the season with Nashville before being reassigned to Milwaukee on Oct. 23… Was recalled to Nashville on Nov. 11, 2003 and played 14 consecutive games with the Predators… Ranked second in playoff penalty minutes (36) on the 2004 AHL Calder Cup Champion Admirals.

2002-03: Registered his first two career NHL points (1g-1a) at Chicago on Nov. 17, 2002… Made his NHL debut at Los Angeles on Nov. 2, 2002.

CAREER NOTES: Finished the 2001-02 season with Norfolk (AHL) after opening the season with Roanoke (ECHL)… Named to the 2002 ECHL All-Rookie Team… Posted three points (1g-2a) in the 2002 ECHL All-Star Game… Joined Arkansas (ECHL) after opening the 2000-01 season with Medicine Hat of the WHL.

AMATEUR: Finished second on Medicine Hat (WHL) in goals (33) and points (71) in 2000-01, and established junior career-highs in goals, assists (38), points and penalty minutes (100)… Tied for second in points (48) on Kelowna (WHL) and ranked third in goals (20) and assists (28) in 1999-00… Led Kelowna in goals (22) in 1998-99.

BACKGROUND: Enjoys golf and wakeboarding… Favorites include You, Me and Dupree (movie), Everybody Loves Raymond (TV show), Morgan Freeman (actor), Kenny Chesney (band/musician) and P.F. Chang’s (Nashville restaurant)… Lists baseball player Curt Schilling as the person he would most like to meet… Lists his favorite hockey moment as winning the AHL’s Calder Cup with Milwaukee in 2004… His favorite thing about Nashville is the weather… Nickname “Fids”… Wife – Chrissy. Their son Blake was born in Nashville during the summer of 2007.
