2006-07: Ranked second among Nashville d-men in assists (26)… Posted five multi-point games, including three three-point games… Notched his 100th NHL assist on Feb. 28 at San Jose… Skated in his 200th NHL game on Feb. 1 at Phoenix… Missed two games due to injury… Led Czech defensemen in scoring (1g-5a) at the 2007 World Championships and was voted as one of the Czech Republic’s top three players in the event by tournament coaches.  PLAYOFFS:  Appeared in all five of Nashville’s WCQ games vs. San Jose… Tied for third on the club with two assists… Tallied two assists in Game 2 (April 13).  

2005-06: Ranked second among club d-men and tied for 14th in the NHL in scoring by defensemen (12g-37a-49pts)… Established career-highs in power-play goals (10) and tied his career-high in penalty minutes (82)… Tied for third on the team in assists (37) and ranked third in average time on ice (20:03)… Notched his 100th career NHL point (assist) on March 21 at Detroit… Missed 15 games due to injury… Signed a four-year contract extension with Nashville on May 8, 2006… Captured a bronze medal with the Czech Republic at the 2006 Winter Games and led all defensemen in the tournament with four goals… PLAYOFFS: Registered one assist in two WCQ games vs. San Jose.

2004-05: Led HIFK (Finland) defensemen and ranked fourth in team scoring (11g-20a-31pts)… Captured a gold medal with the Czech Republic at the 2005 World Championships and was selected to the tournament All-Star Team… Tied for the tournament lead with a +8 rating.

2003-04: Represented the Czech Republic at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey and tied for second among tournament defensemen in scoring (3g-1a-4pts).  Scored goals in three straight tilts (Sept. 1-7) for the Czechs, tying for the team lead in goals… Led Nashville defensemen in assists (39) and scoring (14g-39a-53pts)… Led the team in power-play scoring (9g-26a-35pts) and tied for the team lead in power-play goals and overtime points (1g-2a)… Ranked second on the team in points and assists and tied for second on the club with four game-winning goals… Appeared in all 82 games for the Predators in his first NHL season… Finished sixth in the NHL in power-play points… Ranked among league defensemen leaders in the following categories: ranked second in power-play points, tied for third in power-play goals, ranked fourth in assists, tied for fourth in points and tied for eighth in goals… Notched a team season-high six-game assist streak (1g-6a) from March 1-11… Set a franchise single-game record for points and assists when he posted the club’s first five-assist game on Feb. 18 vs. San Jose… Registered points (2g-5a) in his first six NHL games (Oct. 9-23), including his first NHL goal on Oct. 11 vs. Dallas and one assist in his NHL debut on Oct. 9 vs. Anaheim. PLAYOFFS: Suffered a concussion in Game 1 (April 7) of the Predators’ WCQ series against Detroit and missed the ensuing five games.

CAREER NOTES: Led defensemen and tied for fifth overall in the Finnish Elite League in scoring with 47 points (10g-37a) in 2002-03… Led HIFK Helsinki in assists, tied for the team lead in scoring and finished second on the team with 79 penalty minutes in 2002-03… Tied for second among Finnish league defensemen in scoring (11g-29a-40pts) and led HIFK Helsinki in scoring and assists in 2001-02… Played in all 56 games for HIFK Helsinki in 2001-02… Led Finnish league defensemen in scoring in 2000-01 (12g-25a-37pts)… Led HIFK Helsinki and ranked fourth in the league with 146 penalty minutes in 2000-01… Tied for second on his team with 37 points and ranked third with 25 assists in 2000-01… Joined Finland’s HIFK Helsinki in 1999-2000 after spending his previous five seasons in the Czech Republic Extraleague… Led HC Kladno in penalty minutes (94) and led team defensemen in scoring (10g-12a-22pts) in 1998-99.

AMATEUR: Represented the Czech Republic at both the 1995 and 1996 World Junior Championships.
