Do you dream of seeing your name in lights or performing in front of thousands of screaming fans? Well, the Nashville Predators and Ford would like to help you fulfill that dream with the Smash Hit vocal competition coming to Bridgestone Arena during the upcoming season.

Competing in this brand new vocal competition will take you to center stage during intermissions at Nashville Predators home games during the 2012-13 season. Contestants are selected through internet submissions as well as live auditions at various events at Bridgestone Arena. Once the contestant bracket is filled, vocalists will compete head-to-head on the Ford Band Stage during Preds home games. Fans in attendance will submit their votes via text immediately following the performance and the winner will move on to the next step of the competition.

Ultimately, our Smash Hit champion will be awarded the opportunity to perform as the artist of the night on the Ford Band Stage during a Nashville Predators home game, earn an artist development deal and studio recording time, and, of course, bragging rights!

Next auditions will be held at Honky Tonk Central on Saturday, March 2 from 2-4 p.m.

Contestant Outline:
• Submissions accepted from Nov. 1 - March 2
• Open to anyone ages 18-28
• For soloists, duos or groups (up to four members)
• Contestants may choose songs from any genre of music
• Contestants will provide accompaniment tracks for performances

Winners will receive:
• An artist development deal provided by WME
• Studio recording time
• Artist showcase with local music industry representatives
