Road Trip Blog:November 22 (10:15am) - Jay Levin The Preds 5-game road trip to close out November opens after tonight's game as the team takes off to Minnesota. We'll be following the progress closely, including the team's quick pit stop back in Nashville for Thanksgiving and then the continuation to Detroit, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver. All-in-all Nashville will take eight flights, logging 6,056 miles over 10 days for games in four different time zones. Preds forward Brian McGrattan will be answering your fan questions throughout the trip, so click here to submit your questions for McGrattan and check back here throughout the trip for his answers.November 23 (5:40pm) - Jay Levin The Preds assigned forward Niclas Bergfors to Milwaukee today; the team still has 13 healthy forwards travelling this road trip, so no depth concerns with this move. The Admirals are off until this weekend (back-to-back set at Charlotte). November 25 (9:48am) - Nashville Predators The Preds have called up defenseman Roman Josi from Milwaukee. Josi is expected to travel with the team to Detroit on the continuation of the five-game road trip. This is Josi's first NHL call-up. The 2008 second round pick has four points in five games with the Admirals this season. click here for full release  November 26 (1:46pm) - Nashville PredatorsThe Preds have arrived at historic Joe Louis Arena for tonight's match-up against the Detroit Red Wings. November 27 (9:46pm) - Nashville PredatorsAfter a spirited practice in Detroit, the Preds flew out to Edmonton to start the Western Canadian swing to this road trip. On the entry into Edmonton, the Preds were "greeted" with a snowy landing. What a difference a few weeks makes in the weather up in this area; far cry from the weather we saw back in mid-October. Luckily this is our final trip up to Western Canada during the regular season, so at least we avoid the brutal heart of the winter in December-January-February. |
