Instant Impact: Blum and Geoffrion Score First NHL Goals

Preds rookies Jonathon Blum and Blake Geoffrion each scored their first career goals in back-to-back games this week. Blum, Nashville's first-round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, scored his first career goal in the third period on Sunday, February 27 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Geoffrion, Nashville's second-round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, scored his first career goal in the first period on Tuesday, March 1 at the Edmonton Oilers.
