The Nashville Predators have introduced Get Out And Learn! (G.O.A.L!), presented by Erie Insurance, a FREE on-ice youth hockey program, in association with Centennial Sportsplex, A-Game and Ford Ice Center at The Crossings Commons as part of the Preds commitment to the development of youth hockey.

G.O.A.L! has been created to offer youngsters the opportunity to experience the excitement of hockey without the cost of purchasing equipment.  Designed for boys and girls ages 5 to 8 years old with no prior hockey or skating experience, this free four-week ice hockey program will introduce the exciting sport of hockey to kids while teaching life experiences of teamwork, sportsmanship and self-confidence as a child develops through athletic participation.

G.O.A.L! provides beginner players the opportunity to learn the basic skills of ice hockey through four one-hour on-ice sessions at Nashville area rinks.  Participants will learn forward strides, stops/starts, turns and crossovers, backward skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting, fun games and more! Each session will encourage participants to actively partake in fun drills geared towards their skill progress.  Once the four-week session is complete, there are hockey programs available at the rinks for continued development.

Participants of G.O.A.L! will receive on-ice instruction by USA Hockey certified coaches, complimentary hockey equipment, stick and skates to check-out during the 4-week program, official G.O.A.L! hockey jersey to keep as a souvenir, graduation certificate, progression sheet from local rink and much more!

Predators G.O.A.L! is intended for new skaters, not those already in a hockey program.  Children currently participating in a league or program are not eligible. Graduates of the G.O.A.L! program may not register for additional four-week sessions.
