Donation Program Guidelines and Policies

The Nashville Predators are committed to positively influencing the community far beyond just the on ice excitement. Due to the significant number of requests the Nashville Predators receive on a daily basis, the following guidelines and criteria have been established and must be followed to assure fairness and to maximize the support that we can give to the Middle Tennessee community.

All requests submitted must include the following information:

• Organization’s Name, Address and Office Phone Number (we do not mail to P.O. Box addresses)
• Organization’s IRS 501(c)3 number
• Contact Person’s Name, Phone Number and Email Address
• Description of Event Including: Event Name, Date, Time, Location and Number of Expected Attendees
• Type of Fundraiser (i.e. silent/live auction, raffle, etc…)

Due to the number of donation requests received, the Nashville Predators do not accept calls regarding the status of a particular request. All requests must be received at least six to eight weeks prior to the event being considered. Once your request has been reviewed, you will receive notification as to whether or not your request has been approved.

APPROVAL GUIDELINES:
To maximize our efforts, we support disadvantaged youth, development, educational and wellness programs, and youth hockey programs. Preference is given to organizations and requests that address one or more of those areas of focus.

Due to the volume of requests, we can only provide one item per school/organization for each year (July – June). Please collaborate with other committees, teachers, and departments on your fundraising efforts.

We are not able to accommodate out-of-area requests due to the tremendous volume of requests we receive and the limited number of items that are available.

In order to be fair to the general population, the Predators' community relations program usually does not make contributions to individuals, religious, fraternal, political, labor, social, or veteran's groups, as well as conferences, newsletters and magazines.

The Nashville Predators do not donate to any companies that hold an organization campaign (i.e. for the United Way, American Cancer Society, etc) as the Nashville Predators donates directly to these organizations.

Due to the high volume of requests received, the Predators cannot guarantee a donation will be sent to all organizations. We regret that we cannot fulfill every request.

Please note that we do not accept personal items to be mailed in or dropped off for signatures of players and/or coaches.

All monetary donation requests should be directed to the Nashville Predators Foundation. All 501(c)3 non-profit organizations will be reviewed through a grant process. Please visit the Nashville Predators Foundation page for more information on the Foundation and our annual grant cycle.

HOW TO REQUEST A DONATION:
All requests must be submitted in writing on the organization’s letterhead six to eight weeks in advance (mail or fax) to:
