Thus, the Nashville Predators Foundation was created, a 501 (c)(3) charity organization devoted to funneling the excitement of professional sports towards the needs of this community. Since its establishment, the Nashville Predators Foundation has indeed made a significant impact on the Middle Tennessee community.
Through the support of you, the fans, at various fundraising events held throughout the year, the Foundation is able to award several hundred thousands of dollars in grants to Nashville and Middle Tennessee area charities and community service organizations.
In addition, through the Give and Go Program, the Foundation has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of Predators tickets to local charity organizations.
While we look forward to hoisting the Stanley Cup on the ice someday, we already feel the pride of a championship every time the work of the Foundation helps fund playgrounds, construct street hockey rinks for youth centers, build homes, or even allow youngsters to attend their first professional sports event.
