Registration for G.O.A.L! Sessions in September and October Now Open

Nashville, Tenn. (August 29, 2014) – Registration is NOW OPEN for two upcoming sessions of the Ford Ice Center Get Out And Learn! (G.O.A.L!) program presented by Erie Insurance. Ford Ice Center and the Nashville Predators will offer a session at the new Ford Ice Center in Antioch as well as at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville. Space is limited and registration can only be accessed through nashvillepredators.com/goal.

G.O.A.L!, a try-Hockey-for-free clinic for kids ages 5-8 with no prior hockey experience, has seen more than 3,200 families graduate from the program since its start in October 2006. In addition to introducing kids to the sport of hockey, kids learn teamwork, sportsmanship and self-confidence through athletic participation. The GOAL! program and full hockey equipment rental, including skate rental, is free of charge.

G.O.A.L! AT FORD ICE CENTER (5264 Hickory Hollow Pkwy, Antioch, TN 37013)

ABOUT FORD ICE CENTER AND NASHVILLE PREDATORS YOUTH HOCKEY

The Nashville Predators are dedicated to enhancing awareness and creating opportunities for youth hockey in Middle Tennessee and recently opened Ford Ice Center, the Nashville area’s third ice facility, in Antioch, Tennessee. Through partnerships with local rinks and youth hockey associations, the Preds assist with fundraising, hockey education and additional ice time to promote growth of the sport at the grassroots level. Additionally, the Predators regularly provide clinics for coaches and players, ice time at Bridgestone Arena, funding for uniforms and learn-to-play programs.
