Nashville Predators Recall Filip Forsberg From Milwaukee
Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Filip Forsberg from Milwaukee (AHL).
Forsberg, 19 (8/13/94), has posted five points (1g-4a) in 12 games with Nashville, and 27 points (10g-17a) in 37 games with the Admirals in 2013-14. The Ostervala, Sweden native also participated in the 2014 World Junior Championships, earning Most Valuable Player and Best Forward honors while helping Sweden to a silver medal (4g-8a-12pts, 7gp), his third consecutive medal at the tournament (2013: silver, 2012: gold).
The Nashville Predators face off against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at 6 p.m. CT (FOX Sports Tennessee, 102.5 The Game) in the final game of their four-game road trip. The Preds return to Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday, March 25 to close out their season series against the Colorado Avalanche at 7 p.m. CT (FOX Sports Tennessee, 102.5 The Game).
