Nashville Predators Recall Simon Moser from Milwaukee
NASHVILLE PREDATORS RECALL SIMON MOSER FROM MILWAUKEE

Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Simon Moser from Milwaukee (AHL).

Moser, 24 (3/10/89), made his NHL debut on Saturday in St. Louis, playing 10:21. He is ranked second on the Admirals in assists, and is tied for fourth on the team in points (8g-17a-25pts) during his first North American professional season in 2013-14. The Bern, Switzerland native – who will represent his homeland in the 2014 Olympics later this month – spent the previous five full seasons with Langnau of the Swiss League, posting 110 points (56g-54a) and 179 penalty minutes in 232 games since making his league debut during the 2007-08 season.

Hailing from the same hometown as Predators defenseman and fellow Swiss Olympian Roman Josi, the 6-1, 214-pound winger has also appeared in the past three world championships, most recently posting five points (3g-2a) in 10 games in Switzerland’s silver medal performance of 2013, the highest finish by the Swiss since 1935. He also helped Switzerland to a gold medal at the 2009 Division I World Junior Championships, and played in the 2007 Under-18 World Championships.

The Nashville Predators play just two more games before the Olympic Break – they’ll travel to the Twin Cities to take on the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT (FOX Sports Tennessee, 102.5 The Game), before returning to Smashville on Saturday night to take on the NHL-leading Anaheim Ducks (FOX Sports Tennessee, 102.5 The Game). A limited number of tickets remain for Preds vs. Ducks, including McDonald’s Family Four Packs, which include four tickets, four gold hats and four items from McDonald’s, and start at just $33 each.
