Nashville Predators Reassign Forsberg to Milwaukee
Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Filip Forsberg to Milwaukee (AHL).
Forsberg, 19 (8/13/94), has been sidelined the past 15 games with an upper-body injury. The Ostervala, Sweden native has posted five points (1g-4a) in 12 games with Nashville, and six points (1g-5a) in four games with the Admirals in 2013-14.
The Nashville Predators travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. CT (FOX Sports Tennessee, 102.5 FM The Game). This is the first time the two teams have played in over two years, having last met on Oct. 27, 2011. The Preds return to Bridgestone Arena on Saturday night to take on the Montreal Canadiens in a special 6 p.m. CT start.
