Nashville Predators Recall Forsberg From Milwaukee, Reassign Beck
Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Filip Forsberg from Milwaukee (AHL) and assigned forward Taylor Beck to the Admirals.
Forsberg, 19 (8/13/94), posted six points (1g-5a) during a four-game stint with Milwaukee, reaching the scoresheet in each game. The 6-1, 186-pound winger started the season with Nashville, amassing five points (1g-4a) in 11 games, including an assist in his most recent contest, a 6-4 victory over Colorado on Nov. 6. The Predators have posted an 8-2-1 record with the Ostervala, Sweden native in the lineup in 2013-14.
The Nashville Predators take on the Pittsburgh Penguins tomorrow night at 6 p.m. CT (102.5 FM The Game, FOX SportSouth), the team’s first visit to Pittsburgh since March 2012. This game marks the end of the Preds’ franchise-record 17-day road trip that took them through four time-zones in North America and featured games in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Colorado, Winnipeg, New Jersey and New York (Islanders).
