Statement From The Nashville Predators

Tom Callahan, who has broadcast Nashville Predators games on radio since the start of the 2008-09 season, has resigned for personal reasons.

“We greatly appreciate Tom’s contributions to our broadcast department and his commitment to making our broadcasts the best they can be,” Predators’ Senior Director of Broadcasting Bob Kohl said. “And we wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Willy Daunic, who serves as host of Predators’ radio broadcasts on the flagship station (102.5 The Game), will do play-by-play along with color analyst Stu Grimson, on the team’s upcoming seven-game road trip. The organization will begin formulating long-term broadcasting plans immediately.

There will be no further comment from the organization until long-term broadcasting plans are in place.
