Nashville Predators and Fox Sports Tennessee Announce 2013-14 Television Schedule

Nashville, Tenn.  – The National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the team’s exclusive regional television partner FOX Sports Tennessee (FSTN) announced today that the network will televise a minimum of 70 Nashville Predators’ regular-season games during the 2013-14 NHL season, surpassing the franchise record 68 games set in 2011-12. All games will be televised in HD. See attached for the complete FOX Sports Tennessee Predators’ telecast schedule.

“On the heels of last season’s long-term extension with FOX Sports Tennessee, we have once again teamed up to provide our fans with unprecedented access to the Predators on TV,” Predators Executive Vice President Chris Parker said. “With 70 regular-season games, Predators Snapshot, Predators LIVE and other ancillary programming, FOX Sports Tennessee and SportSouth remain the premier networks in providing Preds fans with the most comprehensive coverage before, during and after games.”

The Nashville Predators TV schedule, along with the NHL’s national package, will see all 41 road games (39 on FSTN/SPSO, two on NBCSN) and 32 home contests (31 FSTN/SPSO, one NBCSN) televised regionally. Sixty-five of the Predators 73 televised games will air on FOX Sports Tennessee, while five games will air on SportSouth (SPSO) and three games will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network (NBCSN).

Nashville Predators games will also return to the Atlanta viewing area during the 2013-14 season, but exact dates and times are still to be determined. Preds fans in the Atlanta market can stay tuned to nashvillepredators.com, FOXSportsTennessee.com and FOXSportsSouth.com for more information.

Coverage begins with the Predators’ regular-season opener on Oct. 3 against the St. Louis Blues (7 p.m. CT). Other highlights from the 2013-14 telecast schedule include five games against the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and two games against the former Central Division- rival Detroit Red Wings. Additionally, the final 34 regular-season games (Jan. 16- April 13) will also be televised (33 on FSTN/SPSO, one on NBC Sports).

The FOX Sports Tennessee broadcast duo of play-by-play announcer Pete Weber and analyst Terry Crisp enter their 16th season calling Predators’ action. Mark Howard enters his sixth season with the broadcast team, this year serving as on-air host for all Predators home games on FOX Sports Tennessee. Stu Grimson joins the broadcast in a new capacity this season as well, serving as rink-side reporter for all televised home games. In addition to game telecasts, the entire broadcast team will take part in Predators LIVE, an extended post-game coverage show after every game on FOX Sports Tennessee. Predators players and personnel will also be featured in FOX Sports Tennessee original programs such as Predators Snapshot.

Fans should also take note that O’Charley’s continues to serve as the official away game viewing-party headquarters for the 2013-14 season; all televised Nashville Predators road games will be broadcast at each Middle Tennessee O’Charley’s location. O’Charley’s Chill Out Parties are scheduled for:
