Nashville Predators G.O.A.L! Program Partners With The North Alabama Hockey Association
Registration for out-of-area G.O.A.L! session set for Wednesday, July 10 at 9 a.m.
Nashville, Tenn. – This July, for the first time ever, the Nashville Predators will host its popular learn-to-play program, G.O.A.L!, in Huntsville, Al. Online registration begins on Wednesday, July 10 at 9 a.m. and can be accessed exclusively at nashvillepredators.com/goal. Space is limited.
This session is a one-day, try-hockey-for-free clinic for kids ages 5-8, and takes places on Saturday, July 27 from 12-12:50 p.m. at the Benton H. Wilcoxon Ice Complex (3185 Leeman Ferry Road, Huntsville, AL 35801,) a non-profit facility serving the ice skating community in North Alabama (iceskate.org). Full hockey equipment, including skate rental, is provided free of charge.
G.O.A.L! is a free, on-ice youth hockey program hosted by the Nashville Predators multiple times throughout the year in association with local ice rinks. Designed for boys and girls ages 5-8 with no prior skating or hockey experience, the program introduces the sport of ice hockey to kids while teaching the life experiences of teamwork, sportsmanship and self-confidence through athletic participation. The Nashville Predators are dedicated to enhancing awareness and creating opportunities for youth hockey in Middle Tennessee. Through partnerships with local rinks and youth hockey associations, the Predators assist with fundraising, hockey education and additional ice time to promote growth of the sport at the grassroots level.
