Nashville Predators Host 2013 NHL Draft Party At Dave & Buster\'s

- Winner selected for the 2013 Draft Fly-Away Contest -

Nashville, Tenn. – Join the Nashville Predators at Dave & Buster’s in Opry Mills this Sunday, June 30 from 2-4 p.m. for the 2013 NHL Draft Party.

The Predators flagship radio station 102.5 The Game will be broadcasting live from Dave & Buster’s, hosted by the Fifth Third Bank Preds Radio Team of Pete Weber, Stu Grimson, Tom Callahan and special guest, Hockey Operations Advisor Brent Peterson. A Season Ticket Holders-only VIP area (please present Season Ticket Holder ID) will include free food, soda and pool, and all fans in attendance will be eligible for door prizes including Justin Timberlake tickets and Preds Prize Packs.

The Nashville Predators and Dave & Buster’s have picked a lucky winner for the 2013 Draft Fly-Away Contest! The winner, Columbia-resident Christy Wright, is receiving two round-trip tickets, a two-night stay in New York City and a VIP NHL Draft Experience courtesy of the Nashville Predators and Dave & Buster’s. Thanks to everyone who entered this year’s contest.

Additionally, the Nashville Predators will be collecting monetary donations at the 2013 NHL Draft Party for the Red Cross of Canada, to benefit victims of the recent Southern Alberta floods. Also on sale will be current-player autographed mystery pucks and mystery mini-sticks, with proceeds benefitting flood relief.

The Nashville Predators currently own the fourth overall selection in this year's NHL Entry Draft. The first overall pick will go to the Colorado Avalanche, a division opponent of the Predators in the new conference realignment. This year’s draft marks just the second time the team has held a Top Five pick in its history. The previous occurrence was the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, where the Predators held the third overall pick, but traded up one position to select David Legwand with the second overall pick.

Can’t make it to Dave and Buster’s? Catch the draft on the NBC Sports Network (Comcast: HD 1607) from 2-4 p.m. For up-to-the-minute draft coverage, visit nashvillepredators.com, nashvillepredators.com/social and follow the team on Twitter @PredsNHL.
