Mike Fisher Wins K-LOVE Sports Impact Award

The inaugural K-LOVE Fan Awards were held at the Ryman Auditorium on Saturday night as the Christian radio network welcomed more than 2,200 fans and two dozen performers to the historic Ryman.

Preds forward Mike Fisher received the K-LOVE Sports Impact Award, one of three non-musical prizes presented to Christian sports figures, movies and books, as more than 100,000 people around the world voted for the award. The award recognizes athletes’ excellence in their sport, but also their leadership and influence on the game and in the community. In 2012, Fisher received the NHL Foundation Player Award, given to an NHL player who applies the core values of hockey to enrich the lives of people in his community.

Kay, Phil, Jase and Missy Robertson from A&E’s hit show "Duck Dynasty" hosted the show as tobyMac took home Artist of the Year and performed for the sold out crowd.
