Nashville, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators and FOX Sports Tennessee, the team’s exclusive regional television partner, will debut a new series, “Predators Golden Classics,” highlighting some of the most memorable games in franchise history.

Predators Golden Classics will begin this Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9:30 p.m. CT with the airing of the Predators Game Five defeat of the Detroit Red Wings during the 2012 Western Conference Quarterfinals, sealing the team’s first playoff series victory over their Central Division rivals. The 2-1 win, which took place on April 20, 2012, will re-air on Tuesday, Oct. 16, with a new classic game to follow each Tuesday at 7 p.m. The second memorable contest – which airs Oct. 23 – will be Nashville’s first playoff overtime victory, Game Five of the 2011 Western Conference Quarterfinals at Anaheim. Two nights later, the Predators returned to Bridgestone Arena and clinched their first ever playoff series victory.

“We have 14 exciting seasons under our belt that include some very memorable contests,” Nashville Predators Senior Director of Broadcasting Bob Kohl said. “Among them – the excitement of our first overtime playoff win at Anaheim, and our first ever playoff series win over arch-rival Detroit this past season. We’re happy to share these significant games and relive these memories with our fans.”

Predators’ telecasts reach more than four million cable and satellite households across Tennessee, Kentucky and northern portions of Mississippi and Alabama.
