The Bethlehem Centers of Nashville (BCN) were founded in 1894 and are a family resource center for children, youth, senior adults, and families in the North Nashville community. They are devoted to promoting self-reliance and positive life choices for children, youth and adults in Middle Tennessee by delivering and advocating quality programs and services such as early childhood education programs, drug/alcohol prevention programs for teens, job skills training for adults and seniors, as well as family outreach programs.

The Bethlehem Centers only charge for childcare services (they also accept DHS certificates), and are open to anyone in the Middle Tennessee area, regardless of income status or community residence.

On Tuesday, July 17, 2012, Gnash stopped by to attend the BCN’s Olympic Day, where he was able to watch the dance competition and then visit with the kids afterward.

“Today’s 24th Annual Olympic day Festival was an atmosphere of super energy, fellowship, respect, teamwork and unity which was exhibited through fun and games,” said Steve Fleming, FRC/Youth Director at Bethlehem Centers of Nashville. “It gives me great joy and pleasure to see people from all walks of life working together with their ultimate aim being victory. The day created an environment where children from inner-city Nashville eliminated territorial differences, focused on improved health and understanding the importance of being fit and promoting the national buzz “Let’s Move.” The presence of Gnash created...ferocious energy and spirit!”

Recently, the Nashville Predators Foundation gave $2,500 to BCN to be used in their Annual Family Fall Community Festival.
