Nashville, Tenn. (June 15, 2012) – The Nashville Predators will host a viewing party for the 2012 NHL Awards this coming Wednesday, June 20 at Bridgestone Arena’s Patrón Platinum Club. All fans are invited to attend this free event to cheer on their four Nashville Predators nominees.

Nominated Nashville Predators include David Poile (General Manager of the Year), Mike Fisher (NHL Foundation Player Award), Pekka Rinne (Vezina Trophy – Top Goaltender) and Shea Weber (Norris Trophy – Top Defenseman). Additionally, the winner of the EA Sports NHL 13 Cover vote will be announced. Goaltender Pekka Rinne was one of two players – alongside Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux – to make it to the finals of this international fan vote.

Fans do not need a ticket to enter the NHL Awards Party. However, fans attending that evening’s Season Ticket Holder Concert – Gang of Outlaws, featuring ZZ Top, Three Doors Down and Gretchen Wilson – are encouraged to come down to Bridgestone Arena early to watch the NHL Awards before the concert begins. Tickets to Gang of Outlaws are still available and may be purchased through Ticketmaster or the Bridgestone Arena Box Office.

WHO: Preds Personalities, GNASH and Dancers will be on hand

WHEN: This Wednesday, June 20. The party kicks off at 4:30 p.m. and awards run from 6-8 p.m.

WHERE: Patrón Platinum Club at Bridgestone Arena (501 Broadway). Please use the Fifth Avenue entrance under the Patrón Platinum Club awning.

NOTES: 102.5 The Game will broadcast live from the Patrón Platinum Club throughout the event.

Food and drinks will be made available for all attendees at a special viewing party price.
