The Nashville Predators’ top developmental affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, enter Wednesday night’s action in a must-win situation, down two games to none in an American Hockey League best-of-five playoff series against the Abbotsford Heat.

After making a great 6-2-0-2 push over its final 10 regular season games to secure a playoff spot, Milwaukee lost its first two post-season games to the Heat on home ice—6-2 on Friday and 4-2 on Sunday. Now the series shifts to Abbotsford, British Columbia, for the final three games. Start time Wednesday is 9 p.m. CT and fans can follow the action on milwaukeeadmirals.com. Games 4 and 5, if necessary, are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Abbotsford has been powered by the scoring of forward Krys Kolanos, who is tied for second in AHL post-season goals (4) and points (6). For Milwaukee, four different players have scored goals and four others have assisted.

Canadian Hockey League: Four Preds prospects are still alive in Canadian Hockey League playoff action.

- OHL: Austin Watson and his London Knights’ club are one win away from the Ontario Hockey League finals. The winger has 8 goals and 6 assists and is a plus-6 in 13 playoff games. London can complete the sweep over the Kitchener Rangers Wednesday night. In the previous round, London defeated recent Preds signee Josh Shalla and his Saginaw Spirit team four games to two. Shalla finished his post-season with an impressive 14 points in 12 playoff games before signing a three-year entry level contract with the Predators organization on April 18.

- QMJHL: Defensive prospect Charles-Olivier Roussel’s Saint John team lost its first game of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League post-season on Tuesday after sweeping two rounds, and now holds a 2-1 lead over Chicoutimi in the league semifinals. Roussel is second among league defensemen in playoff assists (10) and has 12 points in 11 games. Meanwhile, another Preds prospect, winger Brent Andrews, finds his Halifax club down two games to one against Rimouski in the other QMJHL semifinal. Andrews tallied his second goal of the playoffs on Tuesday and has 4 points in 14 playoff games.

- WHL: Cameron Reid’s Portland Winterhawks team is up two games to zero over Tri-City in the Western Hockey League’s Conference Finals. Reid, a 20-year-old winger, has four goals, three assists and a plus-5 rating in 13 games this post-season.

Gagarin Cup: Predators forward Alexander Radulov watched eagerly from the Preds’ practice facility Wednesday as the Kontinental Hockey League’s championship was decided in his homeland of Russia. Congratulations to Preds’ prospects Sergei Soin and Grigory Shafigulin, whose Moscow Dynamo team rallied from a three-games-to-one deficit in the finals to capture the Gagarin Cup. After the match, Radulov posted a congratulatory tweet in Russian to Moscow Dynamo. Soin collected an assist in 21 playoff games; Shafigulin was scoreless and a plus-1 in nine postseason games.
