Western Conference Playoff Update: Monday\u2019s Action
Monday's Stanley Cup Playoff Schedule saw the final Western Conference series come to a close with Phoenix posting a 4-0 shutout at Chicago in Game 6 to win the series 4 games to 2.

Nashville and Phoenix will meet in the second round of Western Conference playoffs. St. Louis will host Los Angeles in the other Western Conference series. The Preds went 2-2-0 against the Coyotes during the regular season with one win in a shootout. The road team won all four games, each team winning a one-goal game and a three-goal game.

In other playoff action tonight, the New York Rangers edged the Ottawa Senators, 3-2, to force a Game 7 on Thursday night back in NY. With Round 1 in the Eastern Conference now guaranteed to run through Thursday night, Round 2 in the Western Conference is unlikely to start until Friday night at the earliest.
