On April 23, the League will announced the three finalists for the Selke Trophy, given to the top defensive forward, and the Lady Byng Trophy, presented for the best combination of skill and sportsmanship.

The next day, the finalists for the Masterton Trophy, given for perseverance and dedication to hockey, and General Manager of the Year will be announced. On April 25, the League will announce the three finalists for the Vezina Trophy, given to the NHL's top goaltender.

The announcements will conclude on April 30 with the three finalists for the Jack Adams Award, given to the coach of the year, and the NHL Foundation Player Award, presented for community service.

The League's elite will come together with celebrities from music, stage and screen for a celebration of hockey at the 2012 NHL Awards on June 20, at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. The ceremony will be televised by the NBC Sports Network in the United States and CBC in Canada.
