With three games remaining in the regular season, the Predators have already locked down their seventh playoff berth in the last eight seasons. They are just one of five teams to make the post season in seven of the last eight seasons – Detroit, New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Jose are the others. The team’s 45 victories this season are the fourth-most in franchise history. Nashville is one of just three teams in the NHL to post at least 40 wins in seven consecutive seasons – Detroit and San Jose are the others. The Preds accomplished the feat in just 68 games – the third fastest in franchise history.
