Preds Open House Set For This Saturday
-Stop by Bridgestone Arena on Saturday to buy season tickets, partake in an Easter egg hunt, skate on the same ice as the Predators and more-

Nashville, Tenn. (April 3, 2012) –
Planning on attending 2012 Stanley Cup Playoff games? Considering purchasing season tickets or just looking for something fun to do this weekend? Stop by the Predators Open House this Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The Open House is a perfect opportunity to scout out your seats for next season and save on 2012 playoff seats at the same time, as season ticketholders continue to receive the lowest rates and greatest benefits of all fans. Plus, start earning points in the all new Smashville rewards program.

The day also features an Easter egg hunt, with Predators staffers hiding eggs throughout the building. There will be eggs for the kids filled with candy and golden eggs for the parents, holding coupons discounts at the Pro Shop, meet and greet opportunities and more. Other fun activities for Open House include locker room tours, an inflatable slapshot cage, kids hockey, a public skate (must bring own skates), free popcorn and soda, Pekka-ing displays and visits by GNASH and the Preds Dancers and Ice Girls.

“This city seems to be filled with Preds Pride and there is no better time to purchase tickets than right now,” Nashville Predators Executive Vice President Chris Parker said. “Come on out to our Open House on Saturday to find your seats, take a locker room tour, uncover some golden eggs and have a great day with the family out in Smashville.”

With three games remaining in the regular season, the Predators have already locked down their seventh playoff berth in the last eight seasons. They are just one of five teams to make the post season in seven of the last eight seasons – Detroit, New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Jose are the others. The team’s 45 victories this season are the fourth-most in franchise history. Nashville is one of just three teams in the NHL to post at least 40 wins in seven consecutive seasons – Detroit and San Jose are the others. The Preds accomplished the feat in just 68 games – the third fastest in franchise history. The Preds finish out their home season this week (4/3 and 4/5, 7 p.m., FS-TN, 102.5 The Game) before concluding their season on the road in the Mile High City to take on the Colorado Avalanche (4/7, 8 p.m., FS-TN, 102.5 The Game).
