15 Years: A Vision For The Future

Today we conclude our two-week series on Bridgestone Arena’s 15-year anniversary on Dec. 17. During the past 15 days, more than a dozen prominent members of the community – from former Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen to singer/songwriter Vince Gill – discussed the benefits that Bridgestone Arena brings to Downtown Nashville and beyond.

The topics ranged from the millions of dollars the arena brings to the local economy each year, to the building being the catalyst for revitalizing downtown businesses and residences, to giving Nashville a stronger sense of community with the Nashville Predators.

More than 18 million people have walked through the doors of Bridgestone Arena since it opened in 1996, and many more exciting events are scheduled for the future.
