-Up from 19th in 2010 Third Quarter Ticket Sales report-

Nashville Tenn. (October 19, 2011) – Bridgestone Arena ranks fourth in the United States and 12th in the world for concert attendance, according to international trade publication Pollstar’s Third Quarter Ticket Sales report. These numbers are up from the 2010 Third Quarter Pollstar numbers, which saw Bridgestone Arena rank 19th in the U.S. and 40th in the word for concert attendance.

“Bridgestone Arena’s recent success in acquiring concert tours is a direct result of the incentives put in place by the Mayor’s office combined with a loyal Middle Tennessee community and the market strength and reach of the Nashville Predators,” Bridgestone Arena Vice President of Booking Brock Jones said. “The Arena’s success translates into a direct positive economic impact for both Downtown Nashville and all of Middle Tennessee. This ranking is another milestone we’ve reached as we work towards becoming the Number One sports and entertainment venue in America.”

2011 Bridgestone Arena Third Quarter Highlights:
· American Idol – July 30

o Britney Spears – July 18
