Nashville, Tenn. (August 30, 2011) – Presented by First Tennessee Bank, Franklin American Mortgage and PEAK Performance, the 2011 Nashville Predators/Brent Peterson Celebrity Golf Classic on Friday, Sept. 9 is now sold out (60 teams) and less than 100 tickets remain for Petey’s Preds Party on Thursday, Sept 8. These special events are highlighted by interaction with Nashville Predator players and several other celebrity attendees from the sports and entertainment world.

Petey’s Preds Party kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8 at Bridgestone Arena. This cocktail reception includes dinner, live entertainment and a world-class auction featuring one-of-a-kind experiences and premier autographed memorabilia from around the sports and entertainment industry. There will be several unique prize opportunities for all event goers. With “Petey’s Golf Balls,” 100 attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a special golf ball that comes with a corresponding prize worth a minimum of $100. Guests will also have the opportunity to take their game to the next level with the Bridgestone Golf Ball Fitting by using a sophisticated computer system to guide them to a golf ball that maximizes performance from tee to green through optimizing ball speed, launch angle and spin rates.

The Celebrity Golf Classic begins Friday, Sept. 9 on the North Course at Vanderbilt Legends Club and features morning (8 a.m.) and afternoon flights (1:30 p.m.) with an awards ceremony following each flight. The tournament will include three hole-in-one contests where participants have the opportunity to win one of three different cars and a putting contest for a flat screen TV.
