Nashville Tenn. (February 27, 2011) – The Nashville Predators are joining forces with Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants throughout the Nashville area in a March Month of Giving fundraising campaign. The campaign will culminate in Jersey Mike’s nationwide Make A Difference Day event on March 28.

During the month of March, customers can make a donation to the Nashville Predators Foundation at any area Jersey Mike’s store. Customers making a $5 donation to the Nashville Predators Foundation will receive six specially branded Jersey Mike’s Silly Bandz and a coupon for a free bag of chips and a drink, while supplies last. One hundred percent of Silly Bandz sales will be contributed to the Nashville Predators Foundation.

Monday, March 28 has been designated a Jersey Mike’s Make A Difference Day where fans can purchase any regular size sub and receive a second regular size sub free with a minimum $1 donation to charity. All local charity donations benefit the Nashville Predators Foundation. Make A Difference Day will take place at Jersey Mike’s restaurants nationwide to benefit 72 different charities in celebration of the Northeast-style sub franchise’s 55th Anniversary

Long before cause-related marketing became as widespread as it is today, reaching out to the community was a key component of Jersey Mike’s mission. All Jersey Mike’s franchise owners find ways to support their neighbors, and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents as well.
