Nashville, Tenn. (February 23, 2011) – The Nashville Predators and Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) are bringing Nashville Predators Captain Shea Weber to Mountain Dew and Orange Crush cans in Middle Tennessee.

Weber dons a number six jersey and cans bearing his likeness will be redeemable for $6 off at the Bridgestone Arena box office for any Nashville Predators game ticket through April 8. Four lucky fans will become instant winners if they find the Grand Prize Can or one of three First Prize Cans.

The lucky fan who finds the Grand Prize Can will win a trip for two to the Pepsi Center in Colorado including airfare, hotel stay and tickets to see the Preds take on the Avalanche in the Mile High City on March 31. They will also receive complimentary tickets to see the Preds take on the Dallas Stars at Bridgestone Arena on March 26 as well as a post-game meet-and-greet with Shea Weber. Those who find a First Prize Can will receive four lower bowl tickets to the March 26 game, a post-game meet-and-greet with Shea Weber and one piece of game-used equipment.

In addition to the signature promotion, fans may also visit nashvillepredators.com/dew or nashvillepredators.com/crush to enter to win a suite at a Bridgestone Arena event of their choosing. Runner-up prizes include autographed jerseys and sticks.

Shea Weber is a certified All-Star and we couldn’t be more excited to see more than five million Mountain Dew and Orange Crush cans bearing his likeness circulating through the Middle Tennessee market,” Nashville Predators Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Chris Parker said. “Pepsi continues to be a tremendous partner for us and this promotion brings the Nashville Predators and our captain to millions of people in a fun and unique way.”

“The Pepsi Beverages Company is excited to take its partnership with the Nashville Predators to a new level, working with an All-Star like Shea Weber,” Vice President and General Manager of PBC’s Tennessee market unit Buddy Lewis said. “We’re excited to bring this promotion to Predator fans, celebrating both a fan favorite athlete and the PBC brands consumers know and love.”

With just three games remaining in February, the Predators will begin their March to the Playoffs with a four-game road trip that will take them through Western Canada and make a stop in California before returning home to play 12 of their 15 remaining 2010-11 games at Bridgestone Arena. With playoff hockey right around the corner, the Preds are offering a March to the Playoffs package so fans don’t have to miss a minute of the action. This special package provides fans four games for the price of three, a parking pass for each game and priority to purchase playoff tickets before the general public. Tickets for all home games are still available and may be purchased at the Bridgestone Arena box office, by calling (615) 770-PUCK (7825) or online at nashvillepredators.com.
