Preds Host American Red Cross Blood Drive at Dec. 23 Game
Nashville Predators Sponsor Red Cross Blood Drive
Portion of Ticket Sales Benefits the Nashville Chapter

Catch the Nashville Predators in action, donate blood and help support the Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross all in one night. How’s that for a Hat Trick?

The Nashville Predators are sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive and giving a portion of ticket sales for the Dec. 23 game against the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Area Chapter.

Blood donors won’t have to worry about missing any action on the ice while giving blood. Flat-screen television sets will be in place in the donation area. Donors may even forget about the game when the Nashville Predators Ice Girls skate in to pose for photos.

All fans invited to give blood on Thursday, Dec. 23, 3 - 8 p.m. in the Bridgestone Arena meeting rooms. All donors arriving after 5 p.m. must have a ticket to that evening’s game. To schedule a blood donation appointment, log on to redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: Preds19. Walk-ins are also welcome.

All presenting blood donors receive a free ticket to a future hockey game and may also enter to win a VIP Hockey Package, which includes four lower level tickets to the Predators game on Sunday, Jan. 2 (5 p.m. start) against the Columbus Blue Jackets and a post game meet and greet for four people with a Predators player.

The Predators are donating $10 from every ticket sold for the Dec. 23 game, only through the American Red Cross link, to the Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. To purchase your ticket, visit nashvillepredators.com/redcross

Don’t let the puck drop this holiday season without donating blood with the American Red Cross and cheering on the Nashville Predators!

How to Donate Blood:
Call 1-800-RED CROSS or log on to redcrossblood.org for more information or to schedule a blood donation appointment. All blood types are needed to ensure the Red Cross maintains an adequate blood supply. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Donors must be in general good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and be at least 17 years old (16 with completed Parental Consent Form). New height and weight restrictions apply to donors younger than 19. Visit redcrossblood.org to learn more.

About the American Red Cross:
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
