Rinne Expected to Miss 2-4 Weeks
Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne suffered a left knee injury at Columbus on Wednesday night. After evaluation today, Rinne is expected to miss the next 2-4 weeks. Rinne has a 8-7-4 record this season, with a 2.38 goals against average and .918 save percentage.

Anders Lindback is projected to see most of the game action in Rinne's absence. The team also recalled goaltender Mark Dekanich from its AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. When Rinne was injured earlier this season, Lindback posted a 3-0-1 record with a 2.56 goals against average and .925 save percentage in five appearances (four starts and completion of one game), including a win at Chicago and an overtime point against the Washington Capitals (the No. 1 team in the Eastern Conference standings).

Dekanich has posted a 10-3-3 record with a 1.71 goals against average and .941 save percentage in 17 AHL appearances this season, tied for second in the league in wins, and fourth in the league in both goals against average and save percentage.
