Nashville, Tenn. (November 10, 2010) – The Nashville Predators and the Tennessee Lottery, in a unique extension of their long-standing partnership, have teamed up to ensure that everyone goes home happy with their new Everyone’s a Winner ticket promotion.

With this promotion, any non-winning Powerball ticket may be redeemed at the Bridgestone Arena box office for $5 off one lower-bowl seat or $3 off one upper-bowl seat for all Monday through Thursday Nashville Predators games. This promotion is just one more addition to a partnership which has seen success with popular in-game-elements Powerball Power Play and Cat Scratch Fever – where one lucky section wins one lottery ticket per person.

“The Tennessee Lottery is excited to extend our partnership with the Predators to include this Powerball promotion,” Tennessee Lottery President/CEO Rebecca Hargrove said. “Thanks to the Predators, every non-winning Powerball ticket now has a chance to win again by giving our players an opportunity to experience the excitement of an NHL game at a special rate. It’s really a win for everyone.”

“We’ve had great success partnering with the Tennessee Lottery through the Powerball Power Play and Cat Scratch Fever initiatives – and we expect Everyone’s a Winner to be no different,” Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/Chief Sales Officer Chris Parker said. “With this exciting promotion, the Preds and the Tennessee Lottery have teamed up to ensure that anyone with a Powerball ticket can walk away a winner.”

The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation operates entirely from the revenue it generates through the sale of its products. Net proceeds from sales of Lottery tickets, currently averaging more than $5 million per week, fund specific education initiatives including college scholarships and after-school programs. Since the Tennessee Lottery began selling tickets on Jan. 20, 2004, it has raised more than $1.8 billion for these programs and returned more than $4.1 billion in prizes and more than $449.7 million in retailer commissions to Tennessee communities. After three games on the West Coast last week, the Predators make a quick stop in St. Louis tomorrow night (7 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz, FOX Sports Tennessee) before returning home to take on the 2010 Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday (7 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz, FOX Sports Tennessee). Saturday’s game is also a Fellowship Night, which includes both the excitement of Predators hockey and a great environment to spend time with family and friends outside of church. Each game features Christian recording artists performing from the Band Stage during intermissions as well as ticket discounts, church names on the Megatron and pregame movies. Tickets for Saturday’s game are still available and may be purchased at the Bridgestone Arena box office, by calling (615) 770-PUCK (7825) or online via ticketmaster.com or nashvillepredators.com.
