The Preds 2009 Draft Class continues to shine; coming off an impressive NHL Rookie Camp/Training Camp, several members of Nashville's '09 Draft Class are off to great starts to the '10-11 season. Mattias Ekholm ('09 4th Round pick) ranks among the top scoring defensemen in the Swedish Elite League, while 3rd Round picks Taylor Beck and Michael Latta are each scoring at better than a point a game for Guelph in the OHL and Nashville's '09 1st Round pick, Ryan Ellis, ranks among the top scoring OHL defensemen. At the NCAA level, Zach Budish ('09 2nd Round pick) and Craig Smith ('09 4th Round pick) are each among his team's leaders in points. Gabriel Bourque ('09 5th Round pick) recorded his first pro point with an assist on Saturday and his first pro goal on Sunday.
