Preds Support Local Hockey Efforts at A-Game Sportsplex
-$150,000 Donation Bolsters Venue and Continues Predators Community Initiatives-

Nashville, Tenn. (October 26, 2010) – In an effort to support grassroots development of youth and amateur hockey in Middle Tennessee, the Nashville Predators are donating $150,000 to Williamson County’s own A-Game Sportsplex. This newfound partnership with A-Game will bolster grassroots development of the game and will serve as a springboard for developing fans in the Middle Tennessee area.

The partnership kicked off today with a full afternoon of Nashville Predators programming at A-Game Sportsplex, beginning with a check presentation with Predators CEO Jeff Cogen, Predators Head Coach Barry Trotz and A-Game General Manager Trigg Wilkes. Directly following the check presentation was a free, open-to-the-public Predators practice. Players also assisted in House Team practices and signed autographs. In addition to today’s programming, the Predators plan to host many future events at A-Game such as hockey clinics, dry-land training and open skates.
