Preds Activate Kostitsyn Off IR; Place Erat on IR

The Nashville Predators activated forward Sergei Kostitsyn off Injured Reserve prior to tonight's game vs. the St. Louis Blues. To make room on the 23-man NHL roster, the Preds placed forward Martin Erat on Injured Reserve retroactive to October 9. Erat is eligible to come off IR on Sunday (October 17).

Kostitsyn was in the line-up for tonight's game against the Blues, his Nashville Predators debut. Kostitsyn was acquired by the Predators from the Montreal Canadiens this summer; in 155 career games for the Canadiens he scored 24 goals and 68 points with 123 penalty minutes.
