Fun Afternoon at the 2010 Preds Foundation Golf Tournament

The Nashville Predators Foundation hosted its 13th Annual First Tennessee Dr. Mac Memorial Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September, 14 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin. The tournament - which was renamed in 2004 in honor of the late Dr. James McPherson, who served as the Predators' dentist from 1998-2004 - raised more than $60,000 for the Nashville Predators Foundation.The tournament featured 22 Predators players providing a fifth shot to all 32 golfing foursomes. More than 120 golfers spent the day interacting with members of the Nashville Predators organization including players, coaches and executives. The tournament, which was a scramble format, began with a shotgun start and concluded with an awards ceremony.

All funds raised from the tournament benefited the Nashville Predators Foundation. The Nashville Predators Foundation strives to meet the educational, social, health and cultural needs of the community by offering unique resources and financial support to local youth-oriented organizations. The Foundation has awarded more than $2 million since its establishment in 1998.
