Budish Named to Team USA Junior Camp
Preds 2009 second round pick Zach Budish was among the 44 players invited to Team USA's evaluation camp for the 2011 World Junior team. The camp, which will take place at Lake Placid's Olympic Center from July 30-Aug. 7, will feature practices, intra-squad scrimmages and international games featuring Finland, Sweden and the United States.

Budish scored seven goals and 17 points in 39 games this season, his freshman campaign at University of Minnesota. After recovering from knee surgery after an injury during his senior season of high school hockey, Budish got off to a slow start to his freshman year scoring five points in his first 18 games, but finished with 12 points in his final 21 contests.

Last week fellow '09 draftees Taylor Beck, Ryan Ellis, and Charles-Olivier Roussel were invited to Hockey Canada's development camp for the 2011 World Junior team.
