Predators Honor Tuckers Crossroads School’s Anna Raines as Teacher of the Month
As part of the teacher appreciation program that recognizes teachers in the greater-Nashville area for their accomplishments, the Nashville Predators have named Anna Raines of Tuckers Crossroads School in Lebanon, Tenn. as the November Teacher of the Month.
Susie Breedwell the principal at Tuckers Crossroads acknowledges the remarkable job Rains does not only during the school day but before and after in order to ensure her students succeed, “She tutors students every morning before school starts and then two afternoons a week.”
Breedwell also notes that Raines’ classroom revolves around the learning needs of her students while preparations for their future are always kept in mind. "Mrs. Raines is an outstanding math teacher. She constantly looks for ways to solve problems a variety of ways to improve and has embraced the new math standards as a personal challenge to get our kids ready to go to the high school.”
“There is no one more dedicated than Anna Raines”
Earlier this month Predators mascot GNASH and other staff surprised Raines in her classroom and presented her with a tickets and Predators memorabilia. Raines will also attend the Nov 19th game vs. New Jersey Devils where she will be recognized.
