NHL, NHLPA Raise over $600K during '08 Hockey Fights Cancer Month

The Predators will host their annual "Hockey Fights Cancer" night at the October 29 game against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Preds will donate 25% of all individual game ticket revenue from that night back to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Further, a portion of the proceeds from the Predators Foundation Game Day Auction Table will also be donated back to Children's Hospital.

Among that night's other activities will include:
  • Children's Hospital patients in JP Dumont's personal suite, along with a post-game player meet-and-greet/autograph session.
  • Children's Hospital autographed hat sale
  • Hockey Fights Cancer bracelet sale
  • Special auction items including Hockey Fights Cancer team autographed tie, Vanderbilt University Medical Center hot air balloon ride, tickets to a suite for the Nov. 25 Miley Cyrus concert at Sommet Center, platters designed by Children's Hospital patients.
