Team Silver came from two goals down to edge Team Blue, 5-4, in today's intrasquad scrimmage. Mike Santorelli, playing on a line with Martin Erat and David Legwand, had two goals and an assist to lead all scorers. JP Dumont and Colin Wilson had two-point outings for Team Silver.

Team Blue skated out to a 2-0 lead on goals by the Erat-Legwand-Santorelli line. Erat scored the scrimmage's first goal banging home a rebound off Santorelli's shot. On the second goal, Legwand and Santorelli came down on a two-on-two. After gaining the blueline, Legwand slowed the play and slid a pass to Santorelli, who split the seam between the two defensemen. Santorelli made a double-deke move and tucked the puck past Pekka Rinne.

Patric Hornqvist got Team Silver on the board. He took a feed from Wilson and ripped a shot high on net. Dan Ellis made a nice shoulder save, but Hornqvist followed the rebound for the goal.

Late in the period, the Team Silver defense lost track of Santorelli in front of the net. The puck squirted out of a scrum and Santorelli finished the play for his second goal of the period. But Team Silver answered right back on the next rush as the Arnott-Dumont-Sullivan line connected for a Steve Sullivan one-timer from the bottom of the left wing faceoff circle.

Wilson converted a feed from Dumont early in the second period. Peter Olvecky redirected a shot late in the period to close out the scoring.
