-Preds also “Go Green” for Playoffs-

Nashville, Tenn. (February 23, 2009) – The Predators announced today they are freezing the 2008-2009 regular-season prices through the team’s first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Playoff invoices will be sent to season ticketholders via email in the next few days and the deadline to respond is March 17. The price freeze will apply to full and partial season ticketholders as well as individual game prices.

This is the first time the Predators will invoice via email and it is consistent with their “Go Green” initiative. Fans that have internet access and an email address are invited and encouraged to pay their invoices online through “My Predators Account” accessed on nashvillepredators.com. This paperless initiative is just one of many ways the Predators are committed to helping their environment. Fans who do not have email will still receive their invoices through the USPS. “We thank all our season-ticket holders and fans regularly,” Predators President of Business Operations Ed Lang said. “But holding the line on playoff tickets during these challenging economic times is the best form of appreciation we can share.”

Individual game tickets will go on sale at a yet-to-be-determined time. Playoff payments for any games not played may be left on the account for the 2009-2010 season or may be requested for refund.

After going 8-5-1 since the All-Star break and with just 22 games remaining in the regular season, the Predators are in contention for making their fifth consecutive playoff berth. They are one of only seven NHL teams to have made it in each of the last four seasons.
