Predators Prospect Report (Nov. 21)
The 2008-09 hockey season is underway across the globe. NashvillePredators.com updates the progress of the Preds prospects playing in various developmental or European professional leagues.

The Preds NCAA prospects continued their success last week. Blake Geoffrion, the team's second round pick in the 2006 Entry Draft, posted a three point weekend as the Wisconsin Badgers went 1-0-1 at Minnesota Duluth, running Wisconsin's unbeaten streak to five games. Geoffrion tallied a pair of goals in Friday night's 3-3 tie, including an unassisted goal to even the score in the third period, and then picked up a shorthanded assist on the team's third goal in Saturday night's 4-1 win. Preds 2008 draftee, Taylor Stefishen scored his first career goal this weekend to cap Ohio State's 4-0 win at Robert Morris. Stefishen missed the start of the season due to illness, but has joined the line-up the past two games for the Buckeyes.

In Canadian Juniors, Jonathon Blum continues to establish himself as one of the elite prospects in Major Juniors, racking up eight points in his last three games, including a three-goal, four-point night against Chilliwack on Nov. 19. Blum, Nashville's 2007 First Round pick, currently ranks among the WHL leaders in plus/minus rating and in scoring by a defenseman.
