2008-09 Regular Season Individual Game Tickets on Sale Sept. 20
41-game home slate includes three against the Cup-champion Red Wings and nine contests vs. Eastern Conference foes

Nashville, Tenn. (September 17, 2008) - Individual game tickets for the entire 2008-09 Nashville Predators regular season, including the home opener on Saturday, October 11 vs. the Dallas Stars, will go on sale to the public this Saturday, September 20 at 10 a.m.

Individual game tickets start at $21, and this will be the first opportunity for non-season-ticketholders to buy them. Predators individual game tickets may be purchased at www.nashvillepredators.com, in addition to at the Sommet Center box office, or by calling (615) 770-PUCK.

The Predators 2008-09 41-game home schedule features 15 Saturday home games at the Sommet Center and 12 Thursday night contests. The Predators will host the 2008 Stanley Cup Champion and rival Detroit Red Wings on Dec. 26, Feb. 10 and Feb. 28 while Nashville’s closest geographical rival, the Atlanta Thrashers, come to town Jan. 17.

Alex Ovechkin, the 2007-08 NHL MVP and scoring leader, will visit the Sommet Center on March 10, while Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and the 2008 Eastern Conference Champion Pittsburgh Penguins come to town on Jan. 8. On Nov. 1, former Nashville goaltender Tomas Vokoun will lead his Florida Panthers into the Sommet Center.

Like last year, Nashville will again be busy around the holidays at home this season. The Predators will play host to the Red Wings the day after Christmas (Dec. 26), and will kick-off a season-high five-game homestand on New Year’s Day against Vancouver. Nashville will also take to home ice on Martin Luther King Day (New Jersey, Jan. 19) and President’s Day (Ottawa, Feb. 16).

Predators season-ticket packages, including the Half-Season Plan (23 games starting at $440), the 13-game package (starting at $240) and the Pick-10 Package, which is designed to give the flexibility to pick and choose dates, are all still available.
