“We think the campaign conveys an emotional connection that will bring both long-time and new fans closer to the Predators,” Predators President of Business Operations Ed Lang said. “It encapsulates the excitement and atmosphere of a game, and the emotional bond it creates. You will see it featured in all that we do. It connects instantly with our current fan base and hopefully, through various marketing elements will draw more fans to the Predators.”

The new campaign will officially launch on Sept. 15 with Internet features on nashvillepredators.com, facebook.com, myspace.com and youtube.com. A large banner will be installed at the main entrance to the Sommet Center on Sept. 19, the day prior to individual game tickets going on sale. Saturday, Sept. 6, Predators forwards J.P. Dumont, Martin Erat and Jordin Tootoo, and goaltender Dan Ellis shot commercials to be used throughout the season, while defensemen Ryan Suter and Shea Weber have recorded radio spots.

“Gish, Sherwood & Friends is helping the Predators build an increasing fan base and appeal to a much broader audience through an unmatched entertainment experience,” said Jeff Lipscomb, president of Gish, Sherwood & Friends. “The Predators offer the most exciting and customer-appreciated entertainment venue in the region. The experience you have and share with others doesn’t subside when you leave the arena, it’s entertainment overload and ‘It Stays With You’ as you go to work or meet with friends or family.”

Predators players report to 2008 training camp on Friday, Sept. 19, with the team playing its first of six preseason games on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. against the Atlanta Thrashers. Nashville opens its regular season Oct. 10 at St. Louis, with the home opener coming the following night against the Dallas Stars. Tickets to all preseason games are now available, and tickets to all regular season contests will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m.
