Predators Recall Forward Rich Peverley From Milwaukee (AHL)

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled center Rich Peverley (RIHTCH PEH-vuhr-lee) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Peverley, 25 (7/8/82), leads Milwaukee in scoring with 38 points (9g-29a) in 36 games, including seven points (2g-5a) in his last four contests.  Originally signed as a free agent by Nashville on Jan. 17, 2007, Peverley has already appeared in 5 NHL games with Nashville this season from Oct. 27 vs. Florida to Nov. 4 at Chicago, averaging 5:25 of ice time.

The Predators also placed forward Jordin Tootoo on the injured reserve list on Monday.

The Predators (21-19-4) host the Calgary Flames (22-16-8) Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. CT at the Sommet Center. Tickets for the game are still available and may be purchased at the Sommet Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (615) 770-PUCK.

Tomorrow night’s game will be broadcast on 104.5 The Zone (WGFX 104.5-FM).
